From the Tax Foundation and their article.
“In today’s press conference, Biden told the following whopper of a lie: “The average American n family is paying a higher TAX RATE than billionaires.” Here is how easy to disprove that statement: Under the Trump tax plan, a couple filing jointly with a combined household income of $106,000 and taking the standard deduction of $25,100 (2021 figure) has a net taxable income of $80,900. The current tax bracket for that level of net taxable income is 12%. 12% of $80,900 is $9,708 which is a tax rate on gross income of 9.16% (of $106,000) Can you name a single billionaire with more than $5 Million of gross personal income that falls into either the 12% tax bracket or pays just 9.1% of Gross income? Even the data from Biden’s own IRS proves that claim is a lie. Their data shows an effective tax rate of 26.8% for the top 1%.”
Kamala Harris wins her own award and here’s why. Mobile users begin at 21:31
Vice President Kamala Harris made largely false claims about firearms during a CBS News interview on Wednesday following this week’s incident in Boulder, Colorado. “I actually thought that Sandy Hook would have been the thing that moved Congress … when … babies were slaughtered,” Harris, who supports abortion, said, “And they did not act, and they did not act, it’s time for Congress to act and stop with the false choices. This is not about getting rid of the Second Amendment. It’s simply about saying we need reasonable gun safety laws.” “There’s no reason why we have assault weapons on the streets of civil society. They are weapons of war,” Harris falsely claimed. “They are designed to kill a lot of people quickly. We all agree that we need background checks.” “Let’s just be practical and agree, people who have been found to be a danger to themselves and others should not be able to purchase a gun,” Harris falsely suggested.

Title IX Executive Order
Although executive orders do not have the force of law, they provide instructions to agencies throughout the Executive Branch. In particular, they instruct the federal agencies to bring lawsuits against those school districts that do not comply with the administration’s interpretation of the law— even if that interpretation is incorrect and the underlying law has not been changed. Senior Litigation Counsel at New Civil Liberties Alliance Harriet Hageman says, “It is unfortunate Biden used International Women’s Day to further an agenda that will undermine the very purpose of Title IX by erasing the gains and benefits girls and women have been able to realize as a result of that landmark civil rights act. President Biden’s latest executive order is not only misguided but is also a violation of separation of powers. He simply does not have the authority to write the law, only Congress can take on that role. NCLA has and will continue to challenge these efforts to use Title IX to take rights from women and to railroad individuals in Title IX proceedings where even the most rudimentary due process protections are denied to the accused.” Listen to the full interview here.
